The International Conference on Moisture in Buildings (ICMB27) will take place at Ghent University, Belgium, from 13–17 September 2027, bringing together researchers, practitioners, industry professionals and other experts to explore moisture-related challenges in buildings and the wider built environment.
As moisture plays a critical role in building performance, durability, indoor environmental quality and occupant health, the conference provides an international platform to exchange knowledge and discuss approaches to preventing and addressing moisture-related risks.
The programme will cover a broad range of topics, including moisture monitoring and modelling, hygrothermal performance, building retrofit, historic and traditional buildings, ventilation and airtightness, material performance and decay, bio-based materials, mould and indoor environmental quality, health and wellbeing, flooding and water damage, and climate-related hazards.
ICMB27 offers an opportunity to share research, practical experience and innovative solutions that contribute to more durable, healthy and resilient buildings.
